Cuddl Duds and Delivering Good spread the love on National Hug Day
In honor of National Hug Day on January 21, 2025, Cuddl Duds proudly celebrated their annual Cuddl Duds x Delivering Good partnership—an online promotion dedicated to bringing more comfort, warmth, and support to individuals in need.
Since its launch in 1986, National Hug Day has encouraged people to hug family, friends, and even pets more often. The idea behind the day is simple: sharing a hug can boost mental and physical health, benefiting both the giver and the recipient. January 21 was chosen as it falls between the Christmas and New Year’s holidays and Valentine’s Day—times when many people can feel down or disconnected, making it the perfect moment to reach out in support of one another.
For the eleventh year, Cuddl Duds partnered with Delivering Good, a nonprofit organization uniting retailers, manufacturers, foundations, and individuals to provide new merchandise to those impacted by poverty and tragedy.
To celebrate the occasion, Cuddl Duds pledged to donate a product item for every engagement with #CuddlHug on social media, from accounts that follow both @CuddlDuds and @DeliveringGood. By simply sharing a virtual hug, people could contribute to a charitable cause, making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Komar furthered Cuddl Duds’ commitment by pledging a minimum donation of $12,500 to Delivering Good, alongside product donations valued at up to $50,000. This effort represents Komar’s ongoing dedication to giving back and supporting initiatives that improve the quality of life for those in need.
